Siren Song
Every year I make a bar in homage to a place that has always called to my soul. A place of mystery and comfort with the ability to make me feel at peace. This is 2024's version of “Siren Song”, my tribute to the ocean.
I'm going to be honest, we've had a lot of rain lately. That rain has made those turquoise days less frequent and the deeper green days reigned much of July. With that in mind, I wanted to create green bar with the same scrubby yet healing properties the ocean is known for...cue bentonite clay, organic mango butter and poppyseed (indigo powder for color). I then wanted to create a scent that was bright and airy helping to remind one of the ozone coming off of the ocean...cue essential oils of y-lang y-lang, bergamot, grapefruit, and lime.
This is a pretty bar that smells like happy!
Now if I could only get the verse, "and the siren's song sweetly sucks me down into the ocean blue", I would be golden!

To prolong the life of your natural soap please do not leave soap in water or in direct spray of the shower. It will get mushy. You can also cut your bars using a butter knife. If you are a shower poof person use your poof by rubbing the bar on it to create a lather. Though, I do prefer to use them directly on my face, body and hair!
