Every year I make a bar in homage to a place that has always called to my soul. A place of mystery and comfort with the ability to make me feel at peace. This is 2019’s version of “Siren Song”, my tribute to the ocean. This year’s bar is a little more complex and has been tweaked scent wise. It contains essential oils of bergamot and tangerine with a touch of sandalwood. It is crisp and beachy with a hint of mystery. “Siren Song” has a lot of natural goodness in its colorful appearance; I was going for the deepest ocean depths rather than the sandy shore this year. The dark sandy ocean bottom is made with rhassoul clay, rosehip powder, and volcanic pumice. The blue swirls are indigo powder and white kaolin clay. The green swirls are spirulina. “Siren Song” is a little scrubby and smells really freaking good (seriously).
Now if I could only get the verse, "and the siren's song sweetly sucks me down into the ocean blue", I would be golden!

To prolong the life of your natural soap please do not leave soap in water or in direct spray of the shower. It will get mushy. You can also cut your bars using a butter knife. If you are a shower poof person use your poof by rubbing the bar on it to create a lather. Though, I do prefer to use them directly on my face, body and hair!
