Bar of the Tiger
“Bar of the Tiger”
This is a bar I made as my annual homage to my alma mater, Clemson. 2020’s version is fierce (the year has merited the need for a spirited bar).
This is literally a soap that you sniff for motivation just before a particularly hard kickboxing class or even the dreaded Murph (or maybe even one of my barre classes). Then, after sweating buckets and maybe shedding tears, you come home and take an extended shower relishing in your personal accomplishment whilst cursing your instructor for torturing you. The scent makes you smile and remember that you don’t hate your torturer and inspires to head back tomorrow. After all, you have a soapy elixir.
This year‘s version is a base of white kaolin clay with veins of yellow Brazilian clay, rose clay, and activated charcoal. Tiger style. The scent is so ridiculously bad booty. I blended the woodsy cedarwood with deep thought inspiring frankincense and wove them together with ylang ylang. Tiger style.
Ingredients: Organic Olive Oil, Water, Organic Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Organic Cocoa Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oils of Frankincense, Cedarwood, and Y-lang Y-lang, White Kaolin Clay, Rose Kaolin Clay, Yellow Brazilian Clay, and Activated Charcoal
Net. Wt. 4.5 ounces
To prolong the life of your natural soap please do not leave soap in water or in direct spray of the shower. It will get mushy. You can also cut your bars using a butter knife. If you are a shower poof person use your poof by rubbing the bar on it to create a lather. Though, I do prefer to use them directly on my face, body and hair!
