The Clean Marine
Meet "The Clean Marine". This bar was made at my husband's request. He wanted a bar, and I quote, "with some charcoal and clay that doesn't smell girly".
A first for me, "The Clean Marine" is soap in which the name came before the genesis of the bar. I took the name (and the requests of the husband) and merged it with the colors of is daily attire for half the year. "The Clean Marine" is exactly what my husband requested but also so much more. It is full of activated charcoal and contains two different clays, rhassoul and French green. For the "not girly" smell I went heavy on sandalwood, gave it deep notes with some of my frankincense stash, and then crisped the scent up with some lemon. The day I made it, the husband came home and made a comment which I would love to share but it is highly inappropriate for public viewing. I will tell you that it passed his sniffer test and he has already hoarded his allotted amount. Personally, I plan to stash a few of these for myself. I am of the belief that just because something smells masculine doesn't mean a girl can't use it to naturally smell utterly fabulous.

To prolong the life of your natural soap please do not leave soap in water or in direct spray of the shower. It will get mushy. You can also cut your bars using a butter knife. If you are a shower poof person use your poof by rubbing the bar on it to create a lather. Though, I do prefer to use them directly on my face, body and hair!
